Quarry in Quandary
A development project at the old Irish Hills golf course is being put on hold for a while. The city plan commission has delayed action on the subdivision to be called ‘The Quarry,’ because the county apparently missed a deadline, and will have to make a new application. The new projects in the town of Shelby have been held up because of controversy, partly because the city of La Crosse wants some revenue guarantees.
