Published

He will be in court today for admitting he stole a car. Benjamin Stetzer approached an officer parked in his squad off of James Street around 7 a.m. July Fifth. The 20-year-old La Crosse man told the cop he was still “tweaking” from meth two days prior and paranoid the police were following him. Cop offered him a ride, but he wanted to get his phone which was lying in the weeds. The officer followed him over, and questioned Stetzer about the 89 Buick that was parked there. Stetzer said he took it. Turns out, he did. Stole it the day before in Minnesota.
