Doyle slams budget
Governor Scott Walker signed the $73 billion state spending plan into law Sunday in Waukesha, despite harsh attacks from Democratic lawmakers. Like Onalaska state rep, Steve Doyle who said the bill included no bi-partisanship. The budget, according to Doyle, was all about cuts and a jumping off spot for a Walker presidential run.
He says some will not forget the cuts made by republicans come the next election cycle.
Doyle says all you have to do is talk to school superintendents, parents of university students, doctors and others effected by the budget and it won’t be hard to find those against it a year from now. The budget is set to take effect on Tuesday.
