Neighborhood activist objects to latest student development

A special meeting in La Crosse city hall this week to approve zoning for a big new apartment building in the UW La Crosse neighborhood. From the Goosetown-Campus neighborhood association, Kevin Hundt has publicly questioned how the the big new development will impact those living in the nearby elder high rise buildings.  He says those are people that are often disregarded but their concerns are “very valid” and people city hall “should be listening to.”

 

 

 

The five story Aguilera complex has also drawn criticism from nearby landlords because of a designed lack of parking for the structure.
