Klekamp’s new role in La Crosse

Associate county administrator newly created position

It’s a job that’s just been created in La Crosse County, so its duties could be fairly open ended. 

 The post of associate county administrator, just created, will be filled soon by Jane Klekamp.

Klekamp says she was asked to apply for the new job, serving directly under county administrator Steve O’Malley, but once she heard more about the position, she became much more interested in getting it.

For a few months, Klekamp will continue working on programs that have been under her current role as justice support director.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk." He also writes the website "Triviazoids," which finds odd connections between events that happen on a certain date, and he writes and performs with the local comedy group Heart of La Crosse. Brad been featured on several national TV programs because of his memory skills.
