La Crosse to spend $6,400 on study

Board approved spending Monday to find out what to charge certain home owners for utility hook up

La Crosse is trying to figure out how much it would cost to hook up utilities to those not living in the city.

Monday, the Board of Public Works approved $6,400 for a study by a consultant to figure out that charge for those wanting water and sewer without getting annexed into the city. 

In the future, for those not living in La Crosse, hooking up to the city’s water and sewer utilities might come with an extra payment.
