Lottery winner one number away from $110 million
Instead settling for ‘just’ $1 million
It must be killing that person in the tiny town of Poy Sippi, Wis. They were one number off. One number away from $110 million.
The tiny town in Waushara County is home to 900 people with zero stoplights, a church, a butcher shop, a couple bars, and one gas station that sold a million dollar Powerball ticket over the weekend, according to the Wisconsin Lottery.
Not $110 million though. Just $1 million.
The winner got five out of five numbers right, but missed the Power Play number.
It’s that sixth number that a ticket holder in California got, winning the Powerball jackpot of $110 million. The million dollars for the winner in Poy Sippi, might feel like a consolation prize.
