Sparta man faces multiple charges for police attack
A Sparta man is facing several charges after his run-in with police in downtown La Crosse this week. Bond was set at 10-thousand dollars yesterday for Jacob Olsen. Police say Olsen had attacked people on King Street on Tuesday, and he backed his car into a building. When officers got to the scene, Olsen banged his head into the squad car’s windshield, cracking the glass. A taser didn’t work on him, but police did subdue Olsen with pepper spray. He was kept in the hospital for a day or two before being transferred to jail.
