Holmen murder trial will wait until next year

A Holmen man accused of killing his girlfriend in March of this year probably won’t go to trial until early next year. Thirty-year-old Bryce Anderson is suspected of cutting Kristen Johnson’s neck, and hitting her with a hammer. Anderson fled to Iowa, where he gave himself up to police. Judge Elliott Levine plans to have a trial for Anderson, who remains in the La Crosse County jail under $500 thousand bond.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
