When you show visitors around the La Crosse area, what do you take them to see? National Geographic wants to know. Staffers from the Geographic Society will be in Onalaska on Friday to ask area residents about landmarks and activities that make the region unique. Amy Gabay from the Onalaska Tourism office says some people have made plans to attend the listening session. The meeting happens Friday morning at 10, at Onalaska City Hall. National Geographic will use the suggestions as they plan a website about the Mississippi River.
