Fundraising campaign ongoing, unveiling next summer

People living on La Crosse’s south side are familiar with Weigent Park along Cass St.

Miller said organizers have raised about $60,000 of the $80,000 needed to create the Weigent statue.  The unveiling is planned during an all-school reunion for Central graduates in July, 2017.
