Time for city of Onalaska to have admin?

Idea was suggested by Onalaska Mayor, meeting tomorrow

Study underway to determine whether the City of Onalaska needs to be run by an administrator. 

The idea, suggested by Onalaska Mayor Joe Chilsen, gets underway tomorrow with a meeting of the city’s finance and personnel committee. 

Chilsen hopes Onalaska residents will tell council members whether the administrator plan is worth considering. He says an appointed administrator might provide better management for the city of Onalaska than an elected mayor whose job is at stake every four years.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
