Construction shutting down another intersection downtown

But pavement is coming

Some pavement is on the way to downtown La Crosse.

The city says paving will begin on Second St. in La Crosse on Thursday. The intersections at Vine and State streets will be closed for the paving. Second has been closed since the city started the reconstruction project for the street in early June. 

The project is behind schedule but should be finished by sometime next week.
