Not who you’d expect

It would seem a Wisconsin city known for its occasional drunken revelry should wind up at the top of the heap for drunkest cities.

But, that’s not the case, as it turns out, for La Crosse. 

The latest dubiously-researched provocative study from the click-bait website, Road Snacks, says that La Crosse doesn’t even crack the Top 10 drunkest cities in Wisconsin. 

Among the evaluation criteria used?

Of course, the number of bars per capita. But also the number of drunk-related tweets within the last week. And the divorce rate?

Reasoning goes, if there’s alcoholism in a marriage, the couple is three times more likely to get divorced.

According to the site, Pewaukee is the drunkest city in Wisconsin.  Tomah is on the list at No. 10.
