Neighborhood cops thoroughly involved on the beat

You’ll find plenty of support for new neighborhood cops from one of the La Crosse neighborhoods where those cops are already assigned. 

That’s all city council member Ryan Cornett hears from people in the lower northside, which is continually impressed by the involvement of the neighborhood response officers. 

He says they like when officers come to their neighborhood meetings, take notes on questionable or suspicious activity and then follow up on that information as soon as possible.
