Keeps cost under $23 million

La Crosse County supervisors have approved bids for additions or renovations to three buildings, as they plan to move departments around to different locations.

County administrator, Steve O’Malley, admits there is a risk that the project could go over budget. The biggest move involves vacating the 1965 courthouse and relocating offices from there to the Associated Bank on State St.

Added space would be put on the current courthouse and the county health building.
