Motorcycle crash leaves man in life-threatening condition

Taken by medivac to La Crosse hospital

A Camp Douglas man is clinging to life today after receiving serious injuries Thursday in a motorcycle crash in the Town of Byron in Monroe County.

According to reports, Stanley Dunn of Camp Douglas was south bound on Cty. Rd. N when he lost control of the cycle on a curve and crashed shortly after 8 a.m.

Dunn, who had life-threatening injuries, was taken to Tomah Memorial Hospital and later transferred by Med Link Air to Gundersen Hospital in La Crosse.

The crash remains under investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department.
