Day after being cut, Caledonia native accepts offer

Isaac Fruechte has accepted an offer and signed to the Minnesota Vikings practice squad.

The Caledonia, Minn., native was signed this afternoon, after the Vikings cut the wide receiver Saturday in getting down to the NFL-mandated 53-man roster.

“That’s not the end goal, but it’s a step in the right direction,” Fruechte told the Pioneer Press. “It’s a (process), for sure.”

Fruechte was signed by the Vikings as an undrafted, rookie free agent out of the University of Minnesota.
