Ron Kind to announce his vote on Iran nuclear weapons

Congressman will speak at La Crosse airport this morning

He’s had listening sessions around the Third District. Now, Congressman Ron Kind says he’s ready to declare how he would vote on a plan to keep Iran from producing nuclear weapons. 

That announcement is scheduled this morning at the La Crosse airport.

It comes after a group of demonstrators took a petition to Kind’s local office last week, urging him to back the plan to promote peace in the Middle East.

The White House says it has enough Democratic votes in the Senate to uphold any presidential veto of plans to block the agreement.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
