Board wants to rid county of all tobacco use

La Crosse County may soon crack down on the use of e-cigarettes. 

Paula Silha of the county health department says county employees have been complaining about breathing vapors from the e-cigs. 

On Thursday, the county board will get its first chance to debate the e-cigarette restriction. The health department also wants to ban tobacco use on all county property, such as park shelters and in cars that are being used for official county business.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
