Onalaska, Holmen to sign cooperative boundary plan today
A rarity in Wisconsin, will promote growth and expansion
At 3 p.m. today, the City of Onalaska and the Village of Holmen will sign a Cooperative Boundary Plan.
It’s one of the first of its kind in Wisconsin and will happen at Onalaska City Hall.
The plan will establish a cooperative growth boundary between the two municipalities, allowing expansion and growth.
It will allow more efficient placement of any future municipal utilities and other infrastructure, such as parks and roads. It will also assist planners in achieving zoning and development compatibility.
The public is invited to take part and witness this historic event.
