National
Senate hearing on threats to those who called out Tomah VA
Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson led hearings
WASHINGTON D.C. — Seems as though the whistle blowing that went on at the Tomah VA was just the tip of the iceberg when it came to retaliation.
At a senate hearing this morning in Washington D.C., a panel heard from many whistle-blowers who were threatened to be fired for their actions.
The hearing was led by Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson, while senators Tammy Baldwin and John McCain all agreed that there needs to be a national VA Administrator first, investigations second then firings if the problem persists.
