Thanksgiving dinner cancelled

Community dinner last 33 years, called off

For now, Thanksgiving has been called off.

At least the Thanksgiving Community Dinner held for the last 33 years. It won’t be held this year at the La Crosse Center.

That’s the announcement today by the board for the annual dinner. The organization says it was not able to meet a couple of key goals of coming up with new planning committee members or raising enough funds to hold the dinner. The announcement says the decision not to hold the dinner could be reevlauated in the future.
