Agency wants public’s opinion on long-term healthcare

One state agency comes to La Crosse today to get some ideas from the public on what long-term healthcare should look like.

At 12:30 p.m. today at the La Crosse public library on Main Street, the Department of Health Services will have a hearing to get the public’s opinion.

It will focus on state budget plans that would require the DHS to replace the existing Family Care program for independent living with a system that has not been tested in Wisconsin, yet.
