Festmaster to be named at Oktoberfest
Festmaster’s Ball tonight
The last member of the 2015 Oktoberfest family will be introduced tonight at the Festmaster’s Ball.
The person chosen for that honor will have a whirlwind week ahead, both with the actual fest and a round of public appearances after Sunday.
Outgoing Festmaster Scott Horne recalls the week following Oktoberfest as one of the best parts of the ‘royal’ experience, especially the visits to nursing homes.
Horne says it’s sad to reach the end of his year as Festmaster, having spent much time with others who were named to the 2014 royal family.
