Fall leaf pickup begins in La Crosse
Crews will pass through town for next five weeks
You know it’s really fall when leaf collection starts, which it has in La Crosse this week.
For approximately the next five weeks, crews will make several passes through the city, collecting leaves.
Directions from the city: pile the leaves on the boulevard, don’t put them in the street and try not to park in the way of the leaf vacuum trucks. Also, a reminder that it won’t vacuum up piles of leaves mixed with brush.
City residents can also get rid of all of their own leaves and brush by taking them to the brush drop-off on Isle la Plume, which will remain open until November 20.
