Shilling hopes Democrats can promote “Badger Blueprint”
Idea concentrates on economic measures to help communities
Democrats in the Wisconsin Senate have a list of priorities they want to promote before the end of the year.
They call it the ‘Badger Blueprint,’ and it concentrates on economic measures that could help families and communities.
La Crosse’s Jennifer Shilling, the Senate minority leader, suggests that there’s not much time in the session to get these proposals out.
The Blueprint emphasizes themes like innovation, economic growth and opportunity. Many of the ideas included in the plan are aimed at strengthening rural areas and the environment.
