Elementary principal in La Crosse suddenly resigns

District informed parents before resignation, Gluch had been put on leave

A sudden resignation of La Crosse’s State Road Elementary principal, Dave Gluch. 

Earlier on Thursday, the school district notified parents Gluch had been put on leave pending what was being called a “personnel inquiry.”

This afternoon, the district released a statement saying that Gluch had resigned. 

In his letter of resignation, he noted he wanted to “focus on my family and health.”

The nature of the personnel inquiry was not been released. In the statement released by the district, it wished Gluch well in his future endeavors.
