High school students partnering Rotary Lights
Event called i-Feed to provide food for Nicaragua families
They weren’t even born yet when Rotary Lights started in La Crosse, but local high school students are being given a big chance to help the annual holiday food drive.
An event called i-Feed on November 7 is being held in connection with Rotary Lights, to provide food for families in Nicaragua.
Stephanie Freese from the Valley View Rotary says local Clubs are doing good work, thanks to the current generation of members, but they need younger people to get interested in Rotary.
Students taking part in the i-Feed project belong to five ‘Interact’ clubs at area schools. Interact is considered the high school version of Rotary.
