Wisconsin home sales skyrocket, 13 percent higher than last year
La Crosse area shows similar increase
Low interest rates and a better overall economy appear to be keeping real estate agents busy across Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin Realtors Association, in its latest report, shows a continued surge in home sales through September, pushing year-to-date sales statewide up to nearly 13 percent above last year’s numbers.
The western part of the state, including La Crosse, shows a similar increase.
The trade group says September sales follow a very brisk summer of home sales altogether and suggest the final months of the year could remain strong.
