I-90 bridge project on schedule for four lanes

Eastbound into Wisconsin could be ready by mid-November

It looks like bridge-building crews at Dresbach will be able to meet their goal of having four lanes of traffic over the Mississippi again before the end of this year.

I-90 construction manager Mark Anderson from MinnDOT says they’re on schedule to have the eastbound span into Wisconsin ready by the middle of November. And, early next year, the old bridge that was built in the 1960s will start to come down.

The new bridge project also has included improved on-ramps on both sides of the river, because areas around the bridge were showing their age.
