La Crosse’s parking ‘czar’ won’t have other duties
Coordinator will not have other
duties, like maintaining ramps
Whoever is hired to manage public parking in La Crosse will be “100 percent dedicated to parking.”
That’s what city public works director Dale Hexom says about the new position of parking coordinator.
Hexom says the coordinator will not have to work on non-parking issues, unlike his own assistant, Bob Haines, who spends a majority of his work time now on maintaining the parking ramps.
Haines is expected to be the mentor who will train the new coordinator on how to manage ramp parking.
