La Crosse busing problems, almost figured out

Busing company, First Student, going back to old routes

It’s November, and the La Crosse school district almost has its busing woes figured out.

Last week, the busing company for the district sent a letter to parents, stating a solution was coming for busing problems.

The postcards will have information about how First Student will go back to the old bus routing system.

Information will include new busing information, bus routes, pick up times and drop off times. 

When the school year began, miscommunication led to missed dropoffs and pickups. The bus company says those problems should be alleviated starting November 23.

The company said to expect some short-term adjustments.
