Local schools packing meals to send to Nicaragua
iFeed event will donate 52,000 meals
Five local high schools are coming together at 9 a.m. Saturday for an event called iFeed.
The goal is to pack and send 52,000 meals to Nicaragua, along with the hope to stock food pantries, as well.
In one day, around 250 people will help pack 250,000 donated food items at Logan High School. That, says event organizer Stephanie Fraase, takes a whole lot of helping hands.
There will be a drive up for those wishing to donate, or feel free to go inside to watch volunteers pack.
