Report complete on suspended officers, but results won’t be seen for a few weeks
State law prohibits release of report pending challenges from officers
Still a couple of weeks before we get the results of the investigation into two La Crosse police officers by an outside agency.
The investigation by the interim Green Bay police chief was sparked by complaints against officers Nathan Poke and Dan Ulrich.
La Crosse mayor Tim Kabat has the investigation on his desk but is not permitted by state law to release the results pending challenges to that release from Poke and Ulrich.
The recommendations within the reports, Kabat said, will help determine whether any discipline is on the way for the two men.
Until September, the two were working together as Neighborhood Response Officers in the Washburn neighborhood in La Crosse. Poke was the target of complaints from the public. The complaints against Ulrich, however, came from Poke himself.
