Bond set for third suspect in Winona murder

Burnett had to be extradited from Illinois

WINONA, Minn. – The bond is set for the third suspect in a recent murder in Winona, who was in court today for the first time.

Reginald Burnett’s bond is $3 million in the murder of Adam Fort. Co-defendant Lonnie Hudson of La Crosse was given $5-million bond last week.

Burnett, who’s from Altoona, Wis., was booked in the Winona County jail Monday night, after being transferred from the Chicago area.

He is the last of three people allegedly tied to the shooting death of Adam Fort to be brought back to Winona from out of state.

He’s facing charges of second-degree murder, aggravated robbery and assault.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
