Traffic to use new I-90 bridge Wednesday

Crews to continue working on I-90 through winter 

 

One of the new I-90 interstate bridges at Dresbach could open to traffic Wednesday.

Minn-DOT is ready to start using the bridge that will eventually take eastbound traffic into Wisconsin.

But for now, the new span will carry westbound cars. Eastbound drivers will continue to use the existing I-90 bridge for now.

Construction crews will keep working on the new bridges through the winter. Demolition of the existing 50-year-old bridge is scheduled to start in the spring.
