Cancer, heart disease leading causes of death in Wisconsin

Third on list is “unintentional injuries”

A report from the Wisconsin Dept. of Health Services shows that heart disease and cancer are the leading causes of death in the state (click the chart above to enlarge it).

Those two factored into 45 percent of all deaths. Third on the list was “unintentional injuries.”

The report says homicide was among the Top 5 causes of death for all state residents under 35, except for babies.
