Event raised over $130,000 last year

Another Thanksgiving week tradition in La Crosse marks its 10th year on Saturday night.

Local celebrities will be raising money for the Red Cross at the Dancing with the La Crosse Stars competition.

The competition begins at 6 p.m. at the La Crosse Center.

There will be 11 teams comprised of celebrities and professional, local dancers.

Last year’s event raised more than $130,000 for the Scenic Bluffs Red Cross. This year’s teams have collected $22,000 in pledges so far, aside from ticket sales.
