Keep the Wreath Green campaign in full swing this month with fire dept.
La Crosse, La Crescent, Campbell and Onalaska will partake
Four local fire departments will be involved again this year in a fire prevention campaign called Keep the Wreath Green.
La Crosse Fire Lt. Steve Cash said there will be a 6-foot wreath full of green lights on the exterior of each department, and when a fire occurs in one of these communities, all departments will take a green bulb from the wreath and replace it with a red bulb.
The fire campaign started on Thanksgiving and will end Jan. 1.
The departments involved include La Crosse, La Crescent, Campbell and Onalaska.
