La Crosse health expert
confirms more tests are needed
As it turns out, e-cigarettes really are bad for you.
At least that’s the results of a new Harvard University study, finding chemicals in the e-cig vapors that cause the debilitating respiratory disease known as “popcorn lung.”
“This is a Harvard study, just continuing to prove that we need more testing done one-cigarettes,” Judi Zabel, health educator in La Crosse county said.
She would like to see more municipalities create rules that ban smoking e-cigarettes indoors. There are currently no FDA regulations on e-cigarettes.
