House party could lead to huge fines
Over 200 underage drinkers were at party
The host of a huge underage kegger in La Crosse may yet face fines for the party.
So far, police have charged a 23-year-old for pushing down a cop and trying to run when they caught him at the party with, maybe, hundreds of under-aged people inside.
At the time, around 11 p.m. Friday, police say they didn’t have enough personnel to ID everyone at the place on North Eighth St., so they let them all go.
Police say the guy at the party also did not immediately collect thousands of dollars in tickets that he might have, but police are still considering those tickets. One of them, a citation relating to the recently enacted social-hosting ordinance, which comes with a $1,300 fine.
