Farmers learn about roll-bar program at La Crosse farm show

at the La Crosse Center

A rebate program offered to Wisconsin farmers to improve the safety of old tractors will get some publicity at a La Crosse farm show. 

Farmers can learn about the program at the 38th Annual Midwest Farm Show Jan. 13-14 at the La Crosse Center. Admission is free. The show goes from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. both days.

The rebate program has helped install over 100 roll bars on Wisconsin tractors, promoted by the National Farm Medicine Center.

The center will be represented next week at the Midwest Farm Show in La Crosse, where farmers can learn about roll bars available.

 

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. Brad been featured on several national TV programs because of his memory skills.
