City clearing snow as weekend temps are set to dip

Sunday’s high is expected to be 5

Some heavy-duty snow clearing underway in La Crosse over the next couple of days.

The city plans to have crews out through tomorrow to clean up piles of compacted snow in residential areas.

The idea is to get the mounds of snow off the ground before single-digit temperatures chill the area over the weekend.

At this point, Sunday’s high is expected at 5 degrees.
