Alcohol-free Packers party at Coulee Council on Addictions

off at 3:40 p.m. Sunday

If you want to watch the Green Bay Packers playoff game Sunday, but don’t want to put up with people drinking, you’re in luck.

The Coulee Council on Addictions has a liquor-free party for every Packers game. The office is located at 921 West Ave., or click here for a map.

Kickoff is at 3:40 p.m. Sunday for the wildcard game between Green Bay and Washington.

Council director Cheryl Hancock says the agency experienced one of its busiest times of the year, when clients call them for help in getting through the holidays without drinking or drugs.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk." He also writes the website "Triviazoids," which finds odd connections between events that happen on a certain date, and he writes and performs with the local comedy group Heart of La Crosse. Brad been featured on several national TV programs because of his memory skills.
