Three facing charges in prank call turned drug bust
Culprits found with meth,
narcotics and marijuana
The Jackson County incident that sounded like a home invasion at first turned into a big drug bust.
Now three people are facing multiple drug charges. Officers sent to a house in Melrose on Wednesday found meth, marijuana, narcotics and cash.
Two 19-year-olds, Skyler Farr and Aleasha Herth, are charged with drug offenses, while 25-year-old David Nelson is accused of disorderly conduct.
Melrose-Mindoro district schools were locked down when 9-1-1 received a phony report of a home invasion involving a gun, which ended up not being true.
