Winter Rec-Fest Medallion Found

 Took seven clues

It took seven clues for somebody to find the Winter Rec Fest medallion in La Crosse. Same number of clues as last year.

The city park and rec department says Heidi Barreyro discovered the medallion Tuesday, on an evergreen tree in Seminary Park, near the Shelby Mall.

Clues relating to actor Cary Grant and the rock band Queen were meant to suggest nearby landmarks such as Cary Specialized Services and Filter Queen.

Unused clues pointed to apartments, the Mississippi River and a nearby cemetery.
