But, same story: democrats want
one thing, republicans do not

ONALASKA, Wis. – Senior citizens worried about the future of social security want a local congressman to do something to preserve the program.

At a listening session in Onalaska on Wednesday, Congressman Ron Kind said presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders both have talked about raising an income cap for social security or even removing it, which would provide more money to fund the payments.

But Kind points out that many republicans are opposed to the idea. He says those congressmen have signed a pledge never to seek more revenue for Washington D.C., and raising the income cap would count as extra money.
