Snowpocalypse coming, forecaster says stay home if you can

Just 4 inches of snow in January

La Crosse managed to avoid big snowfalls in January, but the city probably will get several inches of snow from a storm arriving tomorrow.

About 7 to 13 inches are possible in La Crosse with more snow likely on the other side of the Mississippi River.

Forecaster Dan Jones at the National Weather Service warns people to stay home, if they can.

La Crosse got at least a trace of snow most days in January with the heaviest snowfall just over an inch coming last Monday.

The total snowfall for the month was just over 4 inches.
