Gundersen clinic set
to reopen in April

TOMAH, Wis. – The cleanup at a flooded medical clinic is going well, but it’s going to take a long time to finish.

The newest reopening date for the Gundersen Clinic at Tomah is late April. Gundersen’s regional program manager, David Campbell, says many of the regular Tomah patients have been very patient.

“They’re traveling,” Campbell said. “A lot of them are coming to Sparta, where we have two or three providers,” Campbell said.

Water pipes failed in the Tomah building three weeks ago, during a cold snap. Campbell says there’s no ballpark figure yet on how much the building repairs and replacement costs for equipment will add up to.
